Yesterday, the ZDF broadcast the show "37Grad" and shows the lives of three single mothers with their children in an impressive way. The editor Ms. Diller-Wolff worked on the report for a total of two years and I think that she and the camera team did an excellent job. I was able to participate as a so-called "expert" in Oldenburg and the feedback shows me that the core messages were conveyed well. Absolutely worth watching! One for everything - ZDFmediathek
For ten years I have been "operating" the contact point of the Association of Single Mothers and Fathers (VaMV) in Oldenburg as a volunteer. Here I answer emails and phone calls from single-parent families with a wide variety of questions. Two and a half years ago we were lucky that the Everyday Heroes Foundation took over the financing of an advice hotline in Lower Saxony. The state of Lower Saxony has now taken over the follow-up financing for a year for the second time. Two of our colleagues operate the hotline for two hours a week and there is a lot of demand. Follow-up consultations are also possible. All of the topics covered in the consultations are very well presented in the report... see for yourself!
